Christmas is a season for gathering with family and friends, filling our days with laughter, delicious food, and thoughtful gifts shared with those we hold closest to our hearts. It’s also a time to pause and reflect on the many blessings in our lives, and to extend kindness to those in need — embracing the true spirit of the holiday season.
In Arthur, we celebrate that spirit by coming together as a community. This year, a series of festive events will light up the town, from sparkling decorations and cheerful gatherings to special activities for all ages. It’s a time to connect with neighbours, support local businesses, and make memories that will warm us well into the winter.

Hamper Program
Arthur Lions Club Christmas Hamper Program for Arthur-area families in need (proof of residency required). Apply by Dec. 12 at the Wellington County Learning Centre, 148 George St.
Hampers distributed Dec. 20 at the Arthur Area Curling Club.

Stockings for Seniors
This year, we’re proud to support the Stockings for Seniors program, spreading holiday cheer to seniors in our community. You can help by contributing small, thoughtful items — from cozy socks and warm treats to personal care products — that will be lovingly packed into festive stockings. A donation table will be set up at the bake sale, making it easy to drop off your gifts or monetary donations and help brighten someone’s Christmas.
Donations can be dropped off at Impact Physiotherapy Office @ 110 Charles Street East, 2nd Floor
between the hours of Monday to Thursday 9-5 and Fridays 9-1
